The F2C KML Feeds component installs like any other Joomla extension through the Joomla Extension installer. After installation go to the component via the menu Components => F2C KML Feeds.
Click on NEW and select the F2C content type for which you want to create a KML Feed. Confirm your selection and the F2C KML Feed configuration parameters are shown.
General
Title: The title of the feed by which the content can be recognised.
Title alias: Can be left blank. The component will insert the alias in small captions and without spaces (replaced by -).
Feed Item Details
Title field: Default is Form Title but it is possible to select another field from your F2C Content Type.
Latitude field: Select the field which contains your latitude information.
Longitude field: Select the field which contains your latitude information.
Icon URL: Can be any URL. The link will re-direct you to the images/stories/ folder
Template: Can be any file on the server. The link will re-direct you to the media/com_form2content/template folder
ADDITIONAL_HEADER_DATA: (Advanced users only) The code placed here will be parsed into the KML feed at the top, before the start of the placemarkers.
ADDITIONAL_PLACEMARK_DATA: (Advanced users only) The code placed here will be parsed into the KML feed after the placemarkers generated by F2C KML Feeds.
